Chairwoman’s Message

Prof. (Dr.) Tinku Basu Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) Founder and Chairman
From my early schooling to postdoctoral research, I have deeply realized that a good teacher and institution play a pivotal role in shaping professional development. A dedicated mentor and a nurturing academic environment can guide individuals towards career success. When computer education first emerged, there were widespread fears that it would lead to job losses. However, over time, people came to understand that managing large datasets and storing vast amounts of information would be nearly impossible without computers. With the advent of the internet, communication speeds increased dramatically, and Google became a dynamic encyclopedia for virtually any subject. More recently, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) has demonstrated the immense value of Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Interpretation in not only enhancing current systems but also providing meaningful predictions for the future in all areas of life.
It is clear that a strong foundation in computing, from basic to advanced levels, is essential in today’s education. Inspired by my late mother-in-law, Mrs. Sukla Bose, who pioneered the concept of play schools in Burdwan with the establishment of Blossom Nursery School, which has earned a strong reputation, I founded Blossom Computer Education (BCE). I take great pride in the fact that 100% of Blossom Nursery School students pass entrance exams for reputed English medium schools, showcasing the success of our Goal-Oriented Teaching Methodology (GOTM).
With over 33 years of experience in teaching, research, and innovation, I have witnessed numerous student success stories. Blossom Computer Education offers two main programs: (i) Classroom teaching for students from Class VI to XII, covering the West Bengal Board, Central Board, and ICSE Board, and (ii) Professional courses, including Financial Assistance, Desktop Publishing, and Microsoft Office training. Our unique selling proposition (USP) is that, upon completing a professional course, students receive guidance from industry experts and 100% job assistance. We have built strong connections with industries in Burdwan and surrounding areas to support our students in securing placements. Our ultimate goal is to inspire young minds to pursue computer education while equipping them with the skills needed to thrive professionally.
